Beer tastes better when it’s brewed with care.

At Long Point Brewing Co., we take looking after our patch of coastline seriously. We’re lucky enough to call the Kennedy Bay foreshore home — an environment shaped by the ancient Beecher Dune Formation, a system of coastal limestone ridges and dunes that have been sculpted over thousands of years by wind, waves, and shifting sands. Nestled here is one of WA’s rare Threatened Ecological Communities, home to unique plants and wildlife that deserve to be celebrated and protected.

So, while we’re in the business of brewing beer and serving good food, we’re also in the business of being good neighbours to our environment.

Here’s how we put that into practice:

Local first:

Wherever possible, we procure from local suppliers — WA grain, WA hops, WA produce. Supporting local growers and makers means fresher food, better beer, and stronger community ties.

Brew with purpose:

Spent grain from our brewhouse heads straight to local farms to feed cattle, not landfill.

Celebrate produce:

Our menu is built to showcase the region’s best — flame-grilled proteins, fresh greens, and seasonal WA ingredients.

Energy & water smarts:

We’re working towards solar power and water treatment systems that recycle and reduce waste.

Minimal plastics:

We’re phasing out single-use plastics wherever we can, favouring reusable, recyclable, and compostable alternatives.

Protect what’s special:

We recognise we’re operating within a sensitive coastal environment. From the way we manage waste to how we design our landscaping, we’re committed to minimising our footprint on this rare ecological community.
